Gertrude kam am 11. 05. 1937 in St. Johann im Saggautal auf die Welt, seit 1955 wohnt sie in Graz.<\/p>\n

Ihr Gro\u00dfvater, ein Maler, weckte das Interesse f\u00fcr die bildende Kunst bereits im Kindesalter und 1974 begann sie ihre k\u00fcnstlerische Auseinandersetzung.
Im Lauf der Jahre lernte sie bei Prof. Lischka, Prof. Charusa, Prof. Osterider, O.R.R. Karl, Prof. Otte und Prof. Swoboda.
Durch zahlreiche Malwochen im In- und Ausland sowie B\u00fccher erweitert die K\u00fcnstlerin ihr Wissen unerm\u00fcdlich und mit viel Freude. Sie war 17 Jahre lang Lehrbeauftragte an der Volkshochschule in Graz und leitete seit 1990 selbst Malwochen im In- und Ausland.<\/p>\n
